Happy Easter break everyone • whatever your spiritual ideas, take this time to be like the bunny and hop about on the earth, that is, to GET GROUNDED! Apart from possibly finding a choccie egg or two, grounding into Mother Earth helps balance the primal energies of our root chakra : the force that engenders us with a sense of safety, security, belonging, human connection and rootedness even when our life experience can bring about feelings of indecision, overwhelm or disconnection.
Grounding helps us to pull whizzing thoughts or feelings down into the physical body and the physicality of the earth, to get solid and real. from this stable base, we can then focus clearly on sorting thoughts and feelings into helpful or hindering = RETURN to BALANCE.
It also allows us to soak up some negative ions [they’re actually the positive ones found in nature!] to try and balance the overflow of less healthy positive ions most prevalent in busy city lifestyles and households [think of all the electrical activity in these environments ...yikes!] = RETURN to BALANCE.
So, if it’s been a while since you’ve actually felt the grass or rocks or sand or sea water or tree bark, you’re due for some of that solid and trustworthy love this weekend - a garden egg hunt is the perfect opportunity! If heading outdoors isn’t always possible, try a sea salt bath; seek out crystals of magnetite, black tourmaline black onyx or obsidian to have at home or hold/rub the first point on your Kidney meridian - these 'K1's are effective grounding points found at the deepest indent in the ball of your foot when toes are curled over. Hold on both feet for 1-2 minutes, using either thumbs or first two fingers together. No wonder it feels so good to be barefoot on the ground!
@harmoniahealth is closed until Tue morning but I am contactable over the weekend for you to get your bookings in for next Friday or Saturday because kinesiology is all about the many ways we can maintain homeostasis = RETURN to BALANCE •• breathe. listen. be well. 🙏🏻⭐️🐰🥚🌾 #homeostasis #kinesiology #holistichealth#wellness #energyhealing #grounded #balance #mothernature #adifferentapproachtohealth #community #physiology #goodvibes #compassion #traditionalchinesemedicine #meridian #acupressure #southmelbourne #portmelbourne #stkilda #melbourne
